A downloadable game

Swamp Goblin Mysteries is a zero prep, one page RPG.
You're goblins, you're in a swamp, you solve mysteries!
Built for one GM, 2-4 goblins, and one 2-4 hour session,
probably closer to 2 than 4. Be goblin, solve case.

This game combines the Carved from Brindlewood
system of Jason Cordova (The Gauntlet) with the silliness
of Honey Heist by G.S. Howitt and similar one-page RPGs.
The specific goal is to let you have a mystery game requiring
absolutely no preparation before running it.

I hope you enjoy being a goblin sleuth!

Downloads include the one page of rules, a fillable character sheet as well as
an additional page with a few pointers for GMs (including ideas for mysteries
or suspects) for you to use, particularly if you're stuck at any point.

This game is free and I've disabled donations for it.
If you have money to spare, please just donate whatever
you think this is worth to a charity or mutual aid cause of your choice.
Or, you can commission the artist of the game, Rossy, to draw a little swamp goblin for you for whatever £10-15 is in your part of the world. You can reach him through Bluesky and he draws amazing goblins.

I've played this with two different groups, once as a player and once as a GM. Everyone's had a blast both times.

Love to hear that, thank you! You might be the most experienced player of the game apart from myself right now.

This is so delightful. Distills Brindlewood mechanics down to their elegant center while keeping the vibe of the scenario perfectly gobliny. I'll have no trouble getting this to the table as we're always on the hunt for true one-shots with a chaotic spirit (as opposed to one-shots that actually take three sessions and actually require more emotional investment than we were prepared for).

Thank you!
Also, I and my cats Merry and Pippin appreciate the Tolkien username.
